However you may have stumbled upon this page, I’m glad you did.
My name is Jenn and I am a graduate of Appalachian State with a degree in Public Relations as well as a minor in Sociology. What do I want to do with that degree you may ask? I really and truly couldn’t tell you. In fact, I want to be a nurse- pediatric oncology nurse to get really specific, but that’s definetly a story for another time that we can talk about later.
Moving past those formalities of what I’m (not) doing with my professional title, you should know I’m a lover of all things cozy and comfortable, dogs of any shape and size, the lightest shade of the deepest purples (weird, I know), oversized crewneck sweatshirts, freshly cut wildflowers, personal relationships with people that mean the most, Our gracious Lord, handwritten letters with seasonal stamps, words that make you feel anything from heartbreak to your heart soaring, big llama mugs, and anything that makes you uncomfortable and squirm on the inside because that’s how you grow.
I haven’t spent many years on this earth- 22.5 to be exact- (because the half matters)- however, I have learned a thing or two. And with as much as I’ve learned, there’s more I don’t know. Ironically, that’s the whole reason I created this blog. Everyday I’m learning through happiness, through love, through pain, through a whole lot of extended grace that, more often than not, I don’t deserve, and through eyes that aren’t mine.
There’s a lot going on in this brain of mine and if you can relate even just a little bit to anything I have to ramble on about, I’m thankful; maybe we can learn together. Thank you for stopping by.
